Ich mache gerade einen Roadtrip durch Amerika. Ich bin mit einem europäischen Auto (Toyota Proace) unterwegs, den gibts hier nicht und auch einzelne teile sind schwer zu beschaffen. Auf dem weg von Las Vegas zum Yosemite wurde mein Fahrzeug von einem Stein getroffen. Kurz geschaut wo ich denn, diesen Schaden reparieren lassen kann. Sacramanto ok anrufen fragen ob das zeitlich passt, ja passt. In der Werkstatt stellt sich raus das sind zwei einschläge (von ein Stein) und groß man sagt mir es besteht eine Wahrscheinlichkeit von ca. 40-50% das bei der Reparatur die Windschutzscheibe bricht. Mhm alternativ nicht reparieren, eigentlich keine Option. Nach ca. 40 Minuten Wartezeit die gute Nachricht der Schaden konnte repariert werden. Man hat mir nur einen Einschlag in Rechnung gestellt wofür ich sehr dankbar bin, meine Ottonormale Reisekasse hat ihre Grenzen. 80$ schlussendlich Sehr freundlich und ein Verständnis für die gesamt Situation.
